Roadmap
Cotterpin roadmap: what's built, and what's next
The Cotterpin roadmap in one list, so nothing on this site promises more than the product does. “Available” means you can use it today; “being built” means work is under way; “planned” means it is on our list and not yet started. Releases are announced on the changelog.
Available
- Five language packs — Java, .NET, Python, Angular/TypeScript and Terraform — with 157 gates for Java, plus 51 language-neutral gates for any repository.
- Adapters for Claude Code, Codex and Grok, with the same guard rules for all three.
- Developer mode on macOS, and on Linux, including Windows through WSL.
- Root-signed approvals for destructive agent actions, with your account password, or Touch ID on a Mac where Touch ID is enabled for sudo.
- Signed releases and licences, verifiable offline, with an SBOM for each release.
- Session reports of what Cotterpin caught, computed on your machine.
- Watch, Pro and Team plans, with single sign-on via OIDC on Team.
Being built
- Hardened mode approvals bound to a hardware key or your SSO.
- AWS IAM sign-in with MFA for hardened mode.
Planned
- Antigravity (Google's agent for individual developers): an adapter with the same guard rules.
- SOC 2 Type II — planned, not yet audited.
- ISO/IEC 42001 — planned, not yet certified.
